This week my flying has been a little bit of a mix-and-match affair, with most of it being done in light aircraft. I have a piece of software called Airshow Pilot that’s centered around aerobatic flying and it offers a schedule of competitions to fly in. This week, the competition was held in Port Moresby and this is where we’ll start off.
Practicing & competing in an aerobatics competition at Port Moresby (AYPY), Papua New Guinea in the Alabeo Extra 300S
While I was there, I thought I’d do a little touring of Papua New Guinea and it’s surrounding islands in the Alabeo DA-42 Twin Star, before heading back towards Sydney.
Waiting for my scheduled flight out of Sydney (YSSY), I decided to do some more aerobatic flying practice in the 300S
Scheduled Fly UK Flight from Sydney (YSSY) to Singapore (WSSS), heading back towards the UK. In the last shot, I’m just taxiing in to the gate, ready to take an overnight rest before I get back in the Boeing 777-200LR to fly from Singapore back to London Heathrow (EGLL).
