Photo Log Book Week #6 – 16 April 2017 to 22nd April 2017

Trying a different approach this week with the flight log book, putting all the images into a slide-show.

In flying terms, I’ve had a big military focus over the last few days thanks to recently joining the 509th Wild Tigers

Aerobatics comp in Turkey, starting with IVAO, new repaint & Special Operations

To start off this week, we’re doing a little aerobatic flying in Turkey (at LTAI) with the aid of a piece of software called Airshow Pilot. I’ll not spend too much time describing what the software does here, just click the there to read more about it.  Suffice to say, that it’s the reason we’re starting this week off with a flight in an Airbus A321, flying out from London Heathrow (EGLL).

Photo Log Book Week #4 – 02 April 2017 to 08 April 2017

Back from Singapore. Some heli flights & a little history. VA flights to Tokyo, London & Istanbul.

It’s been a slower week for my flying this week, with some personal stuff to attend to during the early part and working hard to get the site where I wanted it to be towards the end. Even so, I’ve managed to get a few hours in and even found a short while to get onto IVAO for the first time to try things out. Photo Log Book Week #3 – 26 March 2017 to 1 April 2017

Stunt flying and some touring in Papua New Guinea. Back to Sydney and a 777-200 flight to Singapore

This week my flying has been a little bit of a mix-and-match affair, with most of it being done in light aircraft. I have a piece of software called Airshow Pilot that’s centered around aerobatic flying and it offers a schedule of competitions to fly in.  This week, the competition was held in Port Moresby and this is where we’ll start off. A tour in the EC-135. London to Sydney via Singapore in a 777 & off to Jacksons in a Twin Star

Towards the end of last week’s Photo Log Book I said that I was heading across to Ireland to start doing some flight testing of the H&S Design EC-135 and following a tour of Ireland, generously provided by the Fly Uk Flying Club.

And so, we begin this week’s journeys by heading out from London City Airport (EGLC)…

A final ‘goodbye’ tour in the MD-11 & first flight of a freeware Eurocopter EC-135

Ok, here’s the first of my Photo Log Book entries of my flights (and antics) in the world of flight simulation.

To get this going with something a little special, I’m starting a farewell journey for one of Fly UK’s cargo planes as they prepare to retire her from the fleet.  The McDonnell Douglas MD11-F has served the airline well, but with the strength and popularity of the Boeing craft in the fleet, it’s time for the MD11 to take a well earned rest.
